Way back in the day this tune saw fame of monsterous proportions, but it faded away, like many old school classics do. And that is precisely why H & H Project stepped in. Hoping to revitalize its classic status, we cleaned up all of its original pieces, and laid down a new foundation to carry them along. Not only does this tune have huge piano riffs, classic synths and samples, but driving it all is its beast of a bass line. Slipmat’s basslie is like a monster chasing its prey, which adds brilliant contrast to the other elements of the song.

Here’s a perfect example of a song that required a bit of an overhaul. A decade ago this song became a hit with it’s ear gripping vocals. However, something just wasn’t right about it, and that’s why it became a part of the H & H Project. After polishing up the original musical bed, by adding some highlights of our own, we tackled the bigger issue. The finished product showcases the classic hook with some floor pounding beats, and a catchy finally.

Keeping close to our original revamping of this hit, Huda adds his own touch to this track, giving the DJ’s just another option when they are in the mix. Never fear though, all the main ingredients are all there. The classic hook, the massive lead, and the pounding beats.

Some where in time this gem got thrown to the way side, perhaps because its original release was a bit hokey, perhaps because of poor marketing. Who knows? Who cares? What we do care about is bringing this smooth vocal back to life, and adding just the right beat to carry it through the mix. This particular mix adds a big feel to the vocal, crossing a few genres to fill a few gaps. With an ‘epic’ feel, uplifting keys, and a blissful piano ride, “Have You ever” will most definitely make a home in the female heart.

Once again, we just didn’t feel right providing only one mix of this song, as we finished the first mix, we saw room for a chilled out version. So we removed the big melody, softened up the piano, and tightened up the format a bit. If you close your eyes you can almost imagine being cheek to cheek with the person you love (or lust) as the bass hits around you.
