We already know Huda Hudia can make some funky breaks and Fixx can provide the funk, but when these guys get together it aint no joke! The driving bass line, tough beats, hooks, and atmosphere- it's a definite winner. I've been graced with the ability to see it destroy more than a few floors already. This mix aims straight for the dance floor in right into the record crate of anyone who calls themselves a breakbeat DJ.

Following up the success of "Energy" late last year, DJ Self is proving to be a force to be recon with in the breaks producer arena. Once again DJ Self delivers another smashing breaks record. The original mix is on the breaks tip, with a nice bass line and crazy synth sound that comes in on the breakdown and will freak people out once the beat drops back. The other mix seems to be just be an edited vocal strip down of the original. Hey, some like it better all dressed up while others may like it a bit stripped down. "I know how I like it, yeah!"

How many more releases are these two going to throw at the dance floor? I can see the dance floor getting way to tired for such a floor stomper. These guys are at it again with another "Check this Mutha Funkin' Song out!" Damn this shiat is dope! With a droning bass line, melodic sprinles, heavey acid, some voodoo shit added in, and heavily edited record scratching this record is sure to end up your play list. Play it and play it loud.

DJ Self provides two slammin' cutz to this record. The first mix of "Hard" sounds like it bounced off the wall and landed on the turntables. The ill effects and mosterous kick make this either a floor filler or floor stommmmpppppeeeerrrrr. Take your pick. His follow up mix is a creation from the original where he adds some next level shit on it and junglizes it. Yes, we do mean junglize! DJ Self makes the next logical step in jungle's rave obession. Snapping drums and a deep sub keep the floor moving while the vocal sample has a ruff and tough feel to it.

How can you go wrong with this collaboration? Huda Hudia and DJ Fixx once again flip it up and smack it down with this driving floor-filler. Tony Faline dropped the advance copy at a Twilight, Tampa and it quite simply ripped the roof off the joint. "Blow your Stereo" is what these masters of funk achieve, and the bass---- do I even need to say it?

"BACK WITH THE HARDCORE" - This track is slammin with some dope breaks and synths to go along with DJ Self's own vocals, once again he's back with the hardcore.

"HYPNOTIC BEATS" - An instrumental cut with Self playing some nice melodies and backed it up with some pounding bass. This is definitely music for the freakers and the tweakers. Thunderous and bumping percussion takes you into a moody mind-state while an up lifting melody gives you plenty of reasons why DJ Self can make you dance.
